The self-care challenge event is an exclusive activity planned by AIA Life. The event will be implemented for two months. The self-care challenge event is entrusted to the Houston-Apollo Model telemedicine team of the Yunlin Branch of the National Taiwan University Hospital to jointly plan and implement.
Purpose:
The core goal of self care challenge is to encourage and promote a healthy lifestyle and a healthy body. It is not a competition in nature. Everyone’s health goals are different. Please engage in appropriate and safe activities based on your personal abilities.
The warm-up period from July 1 to July 6 is not counted in the score. The score will be officially counted from July 7. Complete one cycle every two weeks, and complete four cycles in a row. The activity will last for a total of eight weeks and end on August 31.
Indicators:
Indicator 1: Calorie consumption from physical activities [the basic calorie consumption standard for each person per cycle is 3,500 calories, including calories consumed by walking + calories consumed by exercise]
The calories burned by walking are the total number of steps per day × the system default value
Calories consumed during exercise: The set exercise must be completed on the wearable device or APP, otherwise the relevant value cannot be generated
The basic calorie consumption standard for each person during each cycle is 3,500 calories, which is equivalent to the calorie consumption of walking an average of 5,000 steps per day without additional exercise.
Indicator 2: BMI [Healthy normal value 18.5 ≦ BMI<24 kg/m2]
The BMI according to the National Health Administration standard is 18.5~24. Being too thin or too fat is not suitable. If you need dietitian consultation, please contact us for free assistance. For those whose BMI is in the healthy range, please continue to maintain a good and healthy status. Health is priceless. It is recommended that you apply for a NT$500 activity subsidy in advance.

AIA Self Care Challenge Event Details
The AIA Self Care Challenge event is mainly to assist AIA Life Group Insurance policyholders to implement healthy lifestyle management in order to achieve the goal of health promotion.
Anyone who qualifies as an insured person under AIA Life Group Insurance can sign up to participate. In line with this year's event theme of cardiovascular disease prevention, the event focuses on healthy eating, maintaining moderate physical activity and appropriate weight management.
The maximum number of participants for this event is 600. AIA Life will conduct a qualification review. When the number of registrants exceeds the upper limit, the co-organizer will announce the participants.
During the self-care challenge event period, the co-organizer will provide free application software required for activity planning, activity promotion plan suggestions, and health consultation from medical staff. The free consultation is limited to 30 people and will be used up until the quota is reached.
Rewards: In order to improve the health management effectiveness of participants, the following rewards are planned:
5.1 Limited activity subsidy: You can upload your subsidy application for any non-static activity at any time during the event
After completing four cycles and submitting the questionnaire, the first 100 respondents will receive an electronic voucher subsidy of up to NT$500 based on the receipt amount. Please fill in the VAT ID [90491533] when applying for a receipt or invoice. Electronic invoices can be uploaded directly by taking a photo when applying. If the invoice is not electronic, please contact us to inquire about the handling method.
5.2 Group Rewards: 1 person can start a group, and the maximum number of members is 5. The total score of the group members are calculated, and the more people there are, the better.
The total group standard calories consumption was achieved in each cycle. The top two groups were rewarded with gift certificates worth NT$3,000 and NT$2,000 for each person respectively. BMI group total score, (last cycle/first cycle) BMI average data, the top two groups with the best improvement, each person in the two groups will be awarded with a gift certificate of NT$5,000 and NT$3,000 respectively.
5.3 Personal Rewards: Encourage you if you persist in your work Activity indicators:
The person who meets the four cycles and has the best total score in the four cycles will be awarded a NT$3,000 gift certificate. BMI indicators: The average of the four cycles of the individual, with gradual improvement in each period, and the best average data of the last cycle/the average data of the first cycle will be awarded a NT$5,000 gift certificate.
